The Sign in page will ask you to enter your Sign in Number. This can be your Affinity member number or Member Card® number. You can click Remember Account and follow the steps to store your Sign in Number. Click continue to enter your password

How Do I Sign In?
Help - I can't remember my password!
You can reset it from the online banking sign-in page. You will see a link below the password field that will take you through the steps to reset it.
You'll be asked a few security questions to verify your identity so that you can
set up a new password.
You can also give us a call at 1.866.863.6237 and we'll get it reset.
I can't remember my member number or answers to my security questions – what should I do?
Just give our Contact Centre a call at 1.866.863.6237.
Bill Payments & Transfers
How do I register a bill using online banking?
- Select the Pay Bills tab.
- Select Add a Payee.
- You'll be asked to answer a security question.
- You can then select a payee from the drop down menu and click Submit.
- Enter your bill account number and click Submit.
Keep in mind that although most vendors will receive your funds within one business day of making your payment, it may take some time for them to process it. Since these processing times may vary, it’s a good idea to check with your vendor to find out how far in advance you should make your payment in order to meet their due date.
How do I make payments to CRA?
For personal (non-business) payments to CRA, you can add CRA as a payee under Pay Bills > Add a Payee for Personal Tax
Payments, Personal Tax Installments or Personal Tax Arrears.
For business payments to CRA, click Pay Bills and select Government Payments to search for the correct
CRA vendor.
Keep in mind that CRA payments will be debited from your account and sent to CRA on the date scheduled. Payments cannot be scheduled for the
same day they are entered into the website. To allow time for CRA to process your payment, ensure that your payments are scheduled 3 days
before their due date.
How do I transfer money to another Affinity Credit Union member?
You can transfer money in a few different ways:
- Via INTERAC e-Transfer®. Just select the Transfers tab then select INTERAC e-Transfer.
- If you have the Affinity member's account number, you can call our Contact Centre at 1.866.863.6237 and request the transfer.
- You can set up an e-account if you have the Affinity member’s account number. This means you’ll be able to select the desired recipient’s account as an option in the transfer To drop down under Transfers. Give us a call at 1.866.863.6237 for more information.
Can I transfer money to someone who doesn't have an account at Affinity Credit Union?
You bet! INTERAC e-Transfer is a safe and easy way to send money to anyone with an email address and a Canadian bank account at a
participating financial institution. You just need to know the recipient's email address or mobile phone number - no other personal or
financial information is required. The recipient will be notified by email or text message when a transfer has been sent and can safely
direct the money into the account of their choice.
To send money via INTERAC e-Transfer, click the Transfers tab and then select INTERAC e-Transfer. For more information on
INTERAC e-Transfer, or to view a list of participating financial institutions, visit our

How do I make a Stop Payment?
To create a Stop Payment, go to the Accounts tab and select Stop Payments.
My Accounts
Can I access my account statements online?
Yes! You can access PDF versions of your statements online under Accounts > Statements. For information on how to sign up for e-statements, visit our website or call our Contact Centre at 1.866.863.6237.
How do I access my Credential Asset Management mutual funds?
You can access your Credential Asset Management mutual funds by selecting the Accounts tab and then selecting Credential Asset Management. You’ll be directed to Credential's website.
How do I access my Qtrade Guided Portfolios account?
You can access your Qtrade Guided Portfolios account by selecting the Accounts tab and then selecting Qtrade Guided Portfolios. This will take you to Qtrade's website.
How do I access my Qtrade Direct Investing account?
You can access your Qtrade Direct Investing account by selecting the Accounts tab and then selecting Qtrade Direct Investing. This will take you to Qtrade's website.
How do I access my Credential Securities account?
You can access your Credential Securities account by selecting the Accounts tab and then selecting Credential Securities. This will take you to Credential's website.
How do I download my transactions to my QuickBooks® / MS Money / or other software?
You can download your transactions to QuickBooks® / MS Money or another software by simply selecting the Accounts tab and clicking on Transaction History. Once you've completed the required fields, you can select your download format.
Can I open new accounts or products online?
Yes! You can open chequing, savings and US dollar accounts, as well as terms, RSPs and TFSAs. Just go to Accounts > Open New Products and follow the simple steps.
How do I order cheques?
Please call our Contact Centre at 1.866.863.6237 or send us a secure message through the Contact Us form on the top right corner when you're signed in.
My card was lost/stolen. What should I do?
You can give us a call at 1.866.863.6237 to report your card lost or stolen.
Or, if you’ve lost your Member Card®, you can use Lock’N’Block to “Lock” and “Unlock” your card on Affinity Mobile or Online banking. You can set your card status to:
- Allow all transactions
- Only allow transactions in Canada
- Block all transactions
You'll have peace of mind knowing your Member Card® can't be used until you locate it (at which time you can “Unlock” your card and start using it again) or contact us and report it lost or stolen. Access the Lock’N’Block feature in online banking under My Profile or on Affinity Mobile under Menu.
How do I check foreign exchange rates?
You can check foreign exchange rates by selecting the Accounts tab and clicking on the Foreign Exchange Calculator option on the left hand side. Enter the amount you are going to buy or sell in United States Currency and then click on the Calculate button.

How do I register for mobile Banking?
To access the Affinity Mobile app on your Apple or Android device, you first need to register for online banking. You can call our Contact Centre at 1.866.863.6237 to register. Once you've successfully signed into online banking you can simply download the free Affinity Mobile app onto your device.
